Piano Lessons for High Schoolers in Kansas City

As with the teen-aged category, high school piano students will either fall into the later beginner category if just starting or, if they are intermediate or advanced students, we will build on repertoire-based learning, technical skill-building, and theory including counterpoint, form and analysis, and harmony.

Students will be encouraged to participate in evaluative programs, festivals, and competitions, if interested.

For high school-aged students interested in college or university study, special care will be given to build their personal repertoire, prepare them for scholarship and acceptance auditions, and to prepare them for study at the post-secondary level.

Aine Wendler Piano Studio holds two recitals per year and requires student participation.
