This was the weekend for the 2014 Fall Festival held by the Kansas City Music Teachers Association (KCMTA). This is an annual festival, this year being its 30th year. Each year features, and celebrates, one of the four, post-Renaissance periods of Music History. The 2014 festival focused on the Classical Period which dated from 1750 to 1820. All students prepare a memorized solo that was composed in that time period. Some representative composers are Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, Clementi, as well as many others.
Twelve students from the Aine Wendler Piano Studio participated in this festival. All twelve performed beautifully and, across the board, received high ratings!!! Congratulations to the following students:
